Mesaba Athletic Club - Class DescriptionsThe following is a list of all classes offered at the Mesaba Athletic Club. Please see the Class Schedule to view the classes currently offered. Class Experience Level Silver Sneakers® I Muscular Strength & Range of Motion (60 min): Beg - Have fun and move to the music of a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Pilates (45 min): All - Strengthen your core muscles to this fast-flowing class designed to get your muscles working. Weights are used to really push your body for a maximum full body workout. Express Pilates (30 min): All - Sneak off on you lunch break and squeeze in a half-hour packed with a full body workout to strengthen your core muscles. Yoga (60 mins): All Increase flexibility and improve muscle tone. Learn to relax and become balanced, centered and calm. Yoga is for everybody who wants to improve their health and sense of well-being. Cardio Bootcamp (45 min): All– High paced calisthenics and light weights will reshape your body. CORE Plus (45 min): All– Multi level class for anyone who wants to develop muscular strength & endurance. This simple easy to follow workout challenges every major muscle. Cardio Circuit (30 min): All-- Sneak off on you lunch break and squeeze in a half-hour packed full of fat burning, and muscle building by using interval training techniques. Ramp your energy level with this total body workout. Adult Self Defense (60min) 16 years and up: For both men and women, this class is designed to not promote fighting but to keep yourself safe in case of an attack. Instructor Darlene Hodge. Zoomba (60 min): Ditch the workout, and come to a party! Join the millions of people that have decided that having fun and working out are not mutually exclusive.
